Sourdough Brownies
From the For the Love of Sourdough book.
Ingredients
- 1c melted butter (1/2 melted & 1/2 soft)
- 590g white sugar
- 6 eggs
- 13g vanilla
- 100g white sourdough discard
- 355g white Kamut flour
- 5g baking powder
- 2g salt
- 35g powdered baking cocoa
Steps
- Preheat oven to 350ºF
- Mix butter and sugar well
- Mix in eggs, vanilla, and discard
- In a separate bowl, mix dry ingredients
- Combine dry ingredients into wet ingredients and mix well
- Grease a 11” / 15” casserole dish
- Bake for 30m
Notes
- Important note: A toothpick test at 30mins should come out wet, don’t over-bake them
