Requesting a Security Freeze for a Minor Child’s Credit Report - Experian

Make sure to select the option “Add or remove security freeze for a minor”

- Copy of Parent’s driver’s license
- Copy of child’s birth certificate
- Copy of child’s social security card
- Copy of utility bill or bank statement for proof of address

TransUnion - Add Freeze
TransUnion doesn’t have an online form or specific form for this. Instead, you have to mail them a letter with the correct documentation and request a “protected consumer freeze”.
